How Can I Get Back Together With My Ex Girlfriend

How Can I Get Back Together With My Ex Girlfriend

How Can I Get Back Together With My Ex GirlfriendSometimes when a relationship comes to an abrupt end, either one or both parties involved may still be in doubt that the end is really the end, and this is especially true when a relationship is new. Some men simply cannot accept the fact that their girlfriend walked away. Therefore, they find themselves still hoping she'll still be there in the morning and that it was all a dream. Are you asking "How can I get back together with my ex girlfriend", it is important that you create a plan regarding how to do it.

In order to get back together with your ex girlfriend, there are numerous steps to take. Here are some of the tips that you should keep in mind when working through this process.

  • There is always a second chance for everyone, so it's not impossible for you to get back together with your ex girlfriend. But first, you should ask yourself some questions Do you still love her? Do you really want her back? Why? Are you trying to get her back because you don't want to be alone, or you don't believe you should have been dumped? If you are looking to get back with your ex for reasons other than love, you may be playing a dangerous game that would be better off avoided.
  • Do not appear desperate or needy to your girlfriend if your priority is "how can I get back together with my ex girlfriend?" Although you may feel desperate, and you may really want her back, you absolutely need to control your emotions, keeping them to yourself. If you cannot help them, then it may be wise to talk to your friends or family so you can cry your heart out where she cannot see. Do not beg or cry in front of your girlfriend, however, and absolutely do not stalk her.
  • Learn how to control your feelings, forgetting about self pity and instead working on the positive aspects of working things through with your ex. If you appear too needy, or if you come off as too desperate, she may end up avoiding you even more.
  • Keep the communication lines with your ex open. She may have ended the relationship, but you just need to make her feel like communication lines are open and that you want to be civil. You do not have to be the one initiating the conversation, but you should be willing to say hello and have a conversation occasionally with her, keeping in touch casually.
  • Above all else, analyze what went awry with the relationship. There must have been a problem that led to the end of the relationship, so find out what the problem was if you want to get back together with your ex. Find out what caused the arguments, of which of her needs weren't being met, and work on rectifying those issues.

Cool off with TUAW on a hot summer afternoon — TUAW TV Live

It’s a hot one today in most of the U.S., so hopefully you’re hanging around the air conditioner trying to stay cool. This afternoon at 5 PM EDT (2 PM PDT), your host Steve Sande will present another episode of TUAW TV Live.

For those of you who haven’t watched the show before, think of it as participatory TV. We have a live video stream with news, reviews, and commentary about all things Apple, and you can add your comments and ask questions through a live chat. It’s fun, it’s free, and it’s another excuse to stay inside and keep cool.

On today’s show, Steve will be talking about and demoing the new Safari 5.0.1 and extensions, showing off some exercise tracker apps for iPhone, demoing some new app layout tools for iOS development, and showing an iPad app that will make you want to sell your laptop.

To join in on the fun, come back to TUAW just before 5 PM EDT and we’ll have the livestream viewer and chat tool all warmed up and ready to go.

Things on Top of Other Things: It Ends Here

All things must end.  Oil leaks must get capped.  Twitter users must die.

Today, I officially end my obsession with things riding on top of other things, for I believe it cannot get any greater than this.

Reddit user "natzo" created the image above featuring a tortoise on top of a tortoise on top of another tortoise on top of a final tortoise.  Yes, that is four torti.

Dare a man ever dream to see a fifth tortoise atop that fourth tortoise?  Alas, to do so would be to spit in face of the lord himself, to laugh at logic and reason, to take a dump on common decency.

Today, there is nothing left to be on top of anything else.  Today, we are complete.

5 apps for the Buddhist

Here’s another entry in our “Five Apps For” series, which identifies five iPhone/iPod touch apps that may be of particular interest to a specific individual or group. Enjoy!

Sure, the historical Buddha lived about 2,500 years ago, but aspects of contemporary Buddhism are just that — modern and current. I found a slew of Buddhist apps in the store, and most can be divided into two categories: book-style references and lifestyle apps like meditation timers. It gets repetitive and digging through the heap to find the best took some work, but I’ve come up with a decent list.

If you’re looking to add your iPhone or iPod touch to your practice, check out these five apps. No matter which school you subscribe to, you should find something useful (all prices are USD).

Equanimity ($4.99)

I just had to link at least one meditation timer, and this is the best one I could find. A key part of nearly any Buddhist’s practice is sitting meditation. Since most modern practitioners (lay ones at least) can’t afford to sit for most of the day, a timer is essential. You can certainly set a stopwatch or egg timer, but Equanimity makes it worthwhile to spend US$4.99 on a dedicated app (here’s our full review).

Use it to time your sessions with both a prep period and cool down warnings. When you’re finished, you can journal about your session and note the number of consecutive sessions you’ve logged and the total number of hours across weeks and months. Plus, there’s no distracting “new-agey” audio to get between you and your practice.

Not ready to commit the five bucks? Here’s a free lite version and even a browser-based version.

Click below for the next four apps.

Safari extensions gallery, Safari 5.0.1 available

Filed under:

That wasn’t a very long wait. Apple has finally published the Safari extensions gallery we’ve been anticipating for a few weeks. There’s a large number of extensions available right off the bat, including some from The New York Times, Major League Baseball, Amazon and Bing.

There’s also an official Twitter extension that looks similar to the Ostrich extension we pointed out yesterday. In fact, extensions are available across several categories, like social networking, news, photos, productivity and security. Root through and find something you’ll like; we’re partial to Brett’s Tablinks extension for copying all the URLs from your open tabs.

Note that you’ll need Safari 5.0.1, which was also released today (check Software Update). In addition to the extensions support, Safari 5.0.1 includes more accurate top hits results in the address field and improved scrolling through MobileMe Mail. It’s also notable that the Safari Extensions Gallery is now an option in the Safari Menu, just below About Safari. A restart is required to complete installation.

Enjoy the new extensions gallery and point out any gems you find.
